About the Journal
Array was launched in1980 as a members only journal focusing on member-centric news, reports, reviews, keynote speeches, and other material pertaining to the annual International Computer Music Conference (ICMC). For the past 40 years, Array has evolved with technology and the needs of the community as an open access journal contributing to topics within the broad field of computer music. Array provides a platform for discussions of current computer music topics as well as topics that focus on interests and initiatives of ICMA members. For example, recent foci have included specific areas in composition and performance, its relationship to digital technologies, AI, and history of computer music.
Array is free and open to the public. It is mainly disseminated as an online journal. The rights of all contributions stay with the authors. All contents are published with CC BY-NC-ND licenses.
